New Tour: The Smokers Club Tour Presents: Ab-Soul, Joey Bada$$ & Pro-Era, The Underachievers & Chevy Woods [October 2013]

The Smokers Club presents the 4th annual North American Tour starting in October. This years tour features a great line-up of smokers and dope rap hip hop artists such as: Ab-Soul of Black Hippy, Joey Bada$$ and the Pro-Era crew,  Chevy Woods and The Underachievers.

It also looks like Black Dave and Minty Burns have been added to the list, plus music hosted by DJ Statik Selektah. Yea, I'll see you there ladies and gents!

The Tri-Cities Producer Showcase is back again on Saturday Aug 31st. This event is going down live at Maxwell's Music House 220 King St. N in Waterloo, Ontario. As always the doors open at 9pm with ID and it is $10.

I did exactly what God had prepared me for and made sure my impact was felt amongst every single person I came in contact with. From the fans who didn't know a word of English but wanted a picture with the cool looking black guy, to the CEO's who charged $60 per glass of Henney on the company tab. Everybody left remembering one thing: FAMOUS

The journey started in MONTREAL, it moved to TORONTO, took time out in ATLANTA, got comfortable in NEW YORK and now I'll be spending some time in ASIA (remember this)!

New Video: "9 Minute Freestyle" + "Alphabetical Slaughter Pt. 2" by Papoose

The Nacirema Dream is coming! Seems like Papoose has been making an effort to make public appearances lately. That's fine with me. Papoose is a fuckin beast, and you're fucked if you think different lol. This video right here presents 7 different beats for him to spit over, and he pretty much obliterated each and every one of them. Then at the end, he makes an addition to his popular track, "Alphabetical Slaughter" over Nas' "One Mic" instrumental. Based on the past few freestyle videos that I've heard from Pap, I think his upcoming album, "The Nacirema Dream" will join my solid collection of hip-hop albums. Check it.

Live Event: Street Hop Presents Adventures of Emceein' [01-12-13]

It's the 10 year anniversary of Street Hop, and to celebrate they doing it big for this edition of Adventures of Emceein'. The Merchants are set to release their self titled album with a dope live performance. Also, the 2012 DMC World Champion DJ Vekked is going to be spinning on the turn tables.

The festivities will be hosted by Shua James. Live performances from some of the Tri-Cities up and coming emcee's including; The Merchants, Jaycen milla, g. Jones, Algeta, Shua James, Black Diamond and Darwin. Music provided by none other than DJ Carmelo and DJ Reddroc.

New Album: "Live At Southpaw" - Jesse Abraham & PremRock

Big Apple underground rhymesayers Jesse Abraham and PremRock have come together with The DJBooth to bring us their new, joint release, "Live at Southpaw".

Recorded on August 25, 2011, when the artists were opening for East Coast phenom Skyzoo at B.K. venue Southpaw, days before PremRock took off on his second European tour and shortly after Jesse Abraham was crowned Lyricist of the Year by the Underground Music Awards, the project features 12 tracks’ worth of live material from the buzzmaking emcees.

Included are renditions of previously featured favorites “Spiderman on Vitamins", “Yoga” and “Diary of a Dreamer”. Willie Green makes the sole guest appearance on the live project, which was recorded by Noisemaker Media and mixed/mastered by Alejandro “Sosa” Tello, Jr.
