New Video: J.Cole & Drake Buy "Born Sinner" at Best Buy NYC

Random Dude: "Yo, how many copies are you copping?"

Drake: "All of 'em"

Thursday night after a live performance at Irving Plaza in New York City, J.Cole and Drake hit up the Best Buy at Union Square and bought out the entire stock of J.Cole's new album "Born Sinner". Well, that's one way to out sell Statik Selektah, Mac Miller & Kanye West.

J.Cole uploaded this on his YouTube page a couple of days ago, and I had to share it with y'all 'cause this video is jokes. It is actually a really smart music marketing strategy, as now J. Cole has a great piece of promotional footage, featuring another well known rap artist in Drake, which he has used to gain an extra 445,000+ views (in 3 days - if you're counting, that's just short of 150,000 views per day).

J.Cole's new album "Born Sinner" is in stores everywhere. This is seriously a dope album. Don't miss out, support real hip hop. Pick your poison: | iTunes | Amazon | Facebook

  1. i agree that music promotion through radio is the best method for music promotion. You sell your CD's and music through radio because most the people listen radio as part of entertainment.
