Canadian Hip Hop Artist Belly Signs New Distribution Deal With EMI

Canadian hip hop artist Belly recently announced his new deal with EMI for world wide distribution for his CP Records label. A press release is set to make the announcement official next week.

Going by Belly’s tweet: “Its official CP/EMI worldwide.. Thanks to @emimusiccanada for an amazing welcome.. This is just the beginning!”. It seems that the deal is legitimate enough already. Also, the rapper's status update was retweeted and replied to by EMI Music, adding “We’re so excited!” into the caption.

Belly is a Canadian hip hop artist out of the nation's capital of Ottawa. This rapper has won multiple Much Music Video awards (2007/2008) as well as a Juno (Canadian Music) Award in 2008.
