MBSolutions.com Asks The Best Music Promotion Tip You've Ever Heard

The other day I got this interesting newsletter from Peter Spellman's Music Business Solutions.
"I have a question for you: What is the best music promotion tip you've ever heard?"
This got me thinking about an e-mail conversation I had with a younger indie rap artist. I shared with him a lesson that I find to be one of the most important when it comes to promoting your music.
"The key is to make yourself/your music be perceived as adding value to the person you're dealing with."
Author Peter Spellman's 'Music Biz Insight' is on it's way from newsletter issue to blog format, which should be happening sometime soon. This newsletter is always filled with useful tidbits for the artist-entrepreneur pursuing a career in the rap music business.

Also, check out this new essay written by Peter Spellman, entitled "Musician 2.0, 3.0, 4.0...Developing Music Careers in Uncertain Times".

So what is the best music promotion tip you've ever heard? Share you tip with the blog and our readers and you could be featured in a new post!
