OurStage Being Used By Vibe Magazine To Discover New Urban Music Talents

OurStage is now becoming an affiliate of the re-surging Vibe Magazine. This deal with Vibe will see the magazine using the OurStage network to find and promote undiscovered hip hop and R&B/rap music talent.

The two affiliates will also seek out advertisers interested in getting in on the action, directly targeting their marketing campaigns to the urban music/hip hop markets.

"OurStage has proven itself to be the premier outlet for new artist discovery on the internet, and together we look forward to starting a new chapter to benefit all 21st century music lovers," Vibe editor-in-chief Jermaine Hall stated.

Although Vibe mag was on it's way "out", it just refuses to die after making such a mark using it's own cultural voice for hip hop. Partnered with OurStage, Vibe will be selecting the most promising artist/group from a joint site and make the appropriate connections to notable producers, executives, and other contacts.

Sha Money XL (formerly of G Unit Records and executive producer for Dream Big Ventures) is slated to provide constructive criticism for the first selected artist/group developed through the new venture.
