Would Timbaland Leak His Own Music Intentionally ? Shock Value 2 Hits The Web

Digital Music News has reported that Timbaland's latest studio release, "Shock Value 2" has already leaked online. This does not come as much of a shocker after the whole fiasco over Blue Print 3, where the first three Jay-Z tracks that leaked were all produced by Timbo.

"The album is a follow-up to a 2007 release and, like part one, is heavy with collaborations. Among these, about half are new names (The Fray, Katy Perry, and even Miley Cyrus), and half are hit-makers from the last album (Timberlake, Furtado, OneRepublic). Add to this mix the now-ubiquitous guest Drake and the mass-appealing Daughtry, and it appears that the super-producer is putting his eggs in many baskets." - DigitalMusicNews.com

Clearly this album is highly anticipated by hip hop and non-rap music fans a like. The guest list features big name and uniquely popular stars, making the demand for these collaborations fairly high as more people become interested. So would Timbo leak his own music on purpose ?

Who can really say, aside from the producer him self. One thing is for sure, it's not the first time this has happened and it will not be the last. In the mean time, we will have to see what kind of effects, if any, this will have on the producers reputation in the music business. Right now, Timbaland is at the top of the hip hop music production world, and this blogger is confident that these Timbo leaks will have more positive, rather then negative effects on his reputation.
