Hip Hop Movies: STEP OFF Official DVD Release 03-15-11

Originally this film was to be titled Battle. Now, with the help of a new distributor in LionsGate Films, the newly produced hip hop movie STEP OFF is finally about to be released.

"Battle: The Movie" Changes Title To "Step Off", Plus Official Release Date Confirmed

You may remember reading a post on this blog about an upcoming indie hip hop film entitled "Battle: The Movie". The title of this film has now been changed to "Step Off" which also has a new official release date. The movie will be released and distributed through Lions-gate Entertainment.

This trailer is wicked. Personally, I've been waiting for a great new hip hop film to inspire me, and I look forward to seeing if "Step Off" will be able step up to the challenge.
