Hi Tide Management presents Mon'wel's newest joint "Buggin" (The Remix). This remix of Mon'wel's latest single includes guest features from El Prez & Fresh Daily and appears on the upcoming "Pass N' Fly: The Mixtape" which will be released this September!Recently inking a deal with Philadelphia based, Hi-Tide Management, Mon'wel is a young rapper/producer coming out of Hofstra University in Long Island. This Garden State native and current Hofstra student already has a number of releases under his belt such as "WELZ 1", "WELZ 2", as well as multiple songs on a compilation entitled "Campus Invasion".
Mon'wel is on a mission to bring his music to a wider audience. His sound and style can be characterized as fun, rapping over quirky sampled beats. Check out his latest drop "Buggin" and "Buggin The Remix". Be sure to look out for Mon'wel's upcoming mixtape "Pass N' Fly", which is scheduled to drop in mid-September 2010.
As an interesting side note, the beat is produced by Mon'wel and with exception of the drums, is sampled entirely from old nintendo video games which turned out quite nice if I may add.
