Rap Artist Asher Roth Targeted By Anti-Drug Organization

A university concert that features new school rappers Asher Roth and B.o.B. is now being targeted by an anti-drug organization. Hip hop artists Asher Roth and B.o.B. are scheduled to perform at the Back to School Jam concert on Saturday August 28th at the Siegel Center in Richmond Virginia.
"Having this artist come to the campus normalizes inappropriate, illegal and unhealthy behaviors," Denise D. Miller, president for the Regional Drug Free Alliance and chairwoman for the Parents Council of Commonwealth Parenting, told the Richmond-Times.
The student's Programming Commission at VCU specifically chose Asher Roth and B.o.B., who recently reached number one for singles "Beautiful Girls" and "Airplanes".

Rumors are that VCU reps will ask Asher Roth not to perform his hit single "I Love College," due to the song's lyrical content regarding acts of smoking marijuana and alcohol consumption.

Isn't that what college is all about? Stop trying to take all the good times away from the kids!
