The BET Network is about to premier a new original music documentary. My Mic Sounds Nice: A Truth About Women and Hip-Hop will air next week. The documentary delves deep in to the impact some influential women have had on Hip Hop music, culture and history.

From Salt N Peppa, MC Lyte and Yo Yo to the more aggressive Rah Digga and Eve. The unique style of Missy Elliot and the emergence of Trina out of the South. Jermaine Dupri, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles, ?uestlove, as well as many other rappers, executives and journalists also appear in this new film.
