Mopreme Shakur, brother of the late great Tupac (2pac) Shakur is hosting a tribute to his slain younger brother in an effort to celebrate his life and accomplishments in the entertainment industry. Tupac sold over 75 million records worldwide and starred in many classic movies such as "Juice" and "Above The Rim".
"As we move forward in the rap game, it's really important that we take time out to remember those that put it down before us and gave us the foundation for what we have today." Mopreme stated in an interview with AllHipHop.com.Meanwhile, Afeni Shakur celebrates her son’s birthday at The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Performing Arts in Georgia. A roster of rap recording artists in attendance including Bun B, Too $hort and Rick Ross among others will pay tribute to the legacy left behind by Tupac Shakur.
