Under Rated & Personal Favorite - Saukrates Interview On The Come Up Show

This was uploaded back in Dec, 2009 but I just came across this recently and wanted to share it with everyone. Saukrates aka "Bigg Soxx!" has been reppin' real Canadian hip hop for well over a decade and he shows no signs of slowing. Now, he is an international sensation who works with notable talent at the front of and behind the rap music business scene.

Saukrates works with super star artists such as Nelly Furtado, K-Os, and Redman & Method Man among many others. Signed to Capitol Hill Music and working with Gilla House Records, Saukrates continues to build his already impressive music resume.

Most recently he did the infectiously catchy hook on "Ayo, Ayo" the first single off the highly anticipated Red and Meth album Black Out 2. Bigg Soxx also kills the hooks on these other tracks, which are slept on by many but not by this blog. Dope tracks to peep are "Where Are You" by Classified and "The Search" by Drake.

Also, he's on the dope track "I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman" by hip hop artist K-Os.

Saukrates is definitely one of my favorite hip hop artists, especially because he does Canadian Hip Hop a proud justice. Big ups to Bigg Soxx! Keep killin' the whole hip hop scene now and forever. Look forward to hearing more of this dude's music.
