To commemorate Space Monkey Radio's release, Quickie Mart offers his remix of "Wasted" by the amazingly talented singer/songwriter/musician Jes Hudak for free download.
Jes was introduced to the world via her stint on Bravo's reality show Platinum Hit, and has been recognized by Billboard, AOL, ISSA and the LA Music Awards for her talent. Her most recent release is last year's 'National Holiday' EP. In the last two years alone Quickie Mart has released three volumes of the 'Haze Diaries' mixtape series with rapper Gotham Green, featuring Freddie Gibbs and Planet Asia. Gypsyphonic Disko, his klezmer/New Orleans bounce/hip-hop fusion project with Ben Ellman of Galactic, was included in Nerve.com's "Five Albums You Should Be Listening To Right Now" and his 'Brain Salad Surgery' mashup tape was released in late 2009.
