New 'Ultimate MC' Reality Show A Fresh Slice Of Canadian Hip Hop

A new channel on Rogers digital cable, AUX TV recently launched a new series entitled "Ultimate MC", launched by the Stylus Group and rap artist Bishop Brigante. The show covers a freestyle battle tournament, which spans across 4 of the big hip hop cities in the country; Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary.

More then just your average battle league or tournament, "Ultimate MC" also features interview clips with many other rap artists from all over the world, providing insights on the craft and culture of hip hop.

It is refreshing to see Canadian hip hop emerging through more and more of these artist-entrepreneur driven outlets, as this country a diverse range of creative young hip hop talent. Check out new episodes of "Ultimate MC" which airs on Thursdays at 10pm on Aux TV (Channel 107) on Rogers digital cable.
