The Jake Drops Bonus Tracks With Official Launch of TheJakeMusic.com

Bio of The Jake:
The Jake’s music career started back in 2007 with the release of the free EP “The Leak Vol.1”. Through a lot of hard work and an eye for talent, The Jake was able to recruit a super talented roster of guest features for “The Leak Vol.1”, including Median and Rapsody, both now under 9th Wonder’s IWWMG umbrella. Random a.k.a. Mega Ran, now famous for his Mega-Man inspired series of albums, made an appearance as well. NYC native Sene, now known for his work with LA rapper Blu & The Brown Bag All-Stars, also lent verses to the project. Also making appearances were D.Rose, Damien Randle of The Legendary K.O., and Jermiside of The Red Giants.

Currently, The Jake is working on the “Dream Season” single which will be the prelude to his first official release, “The Dream Pusher EP”. Just as with “The Leak Vol.1” The Jake has assembled a wealth of talent. Featured heavily is J.Gunn of The ThyrDay, who collaborated with The Jake on a number of songs as well as the single “Pinot Noir”. Keisha Shontelle, known for her work with Little Brother, makes an appearance as well as Rashid Hadee (a.k.a. Hadee). Houston spitter, D.Rose, makes a return to The Jake’s newest project, as well as Houston super-group, The Flow Factory. Also featured on the “The Dream Pusher EP” are long time collaborator Diablo Archer and up and coming ATL emcee, Deucez.
