GZA To Headline Official SXSW Showcase Backed By Grammy Award Winning Band Grupo Fantasma

Legendary lyricist, GZA of the Wu-Tang Clan will make his return to SXSW on Saturday March 17, 2012, however this time he will be backed by Grammy Award winning band Grupo Fantasma (Brownout). For those who have seen GZA live know just how captivating the swordsman is, and the addition of a 10 piece Latin funk orchestra is certain to make for a performance of phenomenal proportion.

The official showcase, which is presented by iHipHop, Babygrande & The Madbury Club, will also include performances by east coast hardcore veterans M.O.P. as well as Curren$y's Jet Life crew (Trademark Da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Sir Michael Rocks of The Cool Kids, Fiend, Cornerboy P & Street Wiz), Marz Lovejoy, Flatbush Zombies, T. Mills, Airplane Boys, Mod Sun and DJ Statik Selektah.

New Video: The Airplane Boys Open For J.Cole In London & Montreal, Head Out On UK Tour With Snoop Dogg

Oh, you ain't heard? The Airplane Boys recently toured with J.Cole and opened for him in Montreal. That's all shortly after opening up for Snoop Dogg in London, Ontario to start off the summer. Capturing footage along the way, here is part 2 of their adventures.

These clips show the two members of The Airplane Boys exploring the streets, prepping for the show and mingling with the fans. Today, The Airplane Boys have just left with Snoop Dogg for his UK tour.
