New Joint: "We Made It" (Remix) - Jay Electronica feat. Jay-Z

Jay Electronica is a beast! Most of y'all probably already heard this by now (I hope), but I thought it still deserved to be shared and enjoyed by real hip hop heads who appreciate intelligent lyrics matched with a mean flow.

New Video: "Holy Grail" - Jay-Z feat. Justin Timberlake (Prod. by Timbaland)

Here is the official music video for Jay-Z, JT and Timbo's collaborative track "Holy Grail", considered to be the title track off Mr.Carter's 12th studio album "Magna Carta Holy Grail". This video gets the artistic like direction from Anthony Mandler. Damn son, that's a big chain.

I definitely think this new video is a little over the top compared to the small intimate setting and creative point behind "Picasso Baby", which carries with it a different concept altogether. How do you feel about this new video from Jay-Z?

Jay-Z Sets The New Rules: RIAA Changes Policy Regarding Album Sales in Digital Formats

He said he would set the "new rules" and he did. Rap music business mogul Jay-Z's new album "Magna Carta Holy Grail" is officially the first album to be certified platinum before it's actual release.

That's some crazy shit.

We think it’s time for the RIAA – and Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman – to align our digital song and album certification requirements.  That’s why today we are officially updating this rule in our G&P Program requirements.  Going forward, sales of albums in digital format will become eligible on the release date, while sales of albums in physical format will still become eligible for certification 30 days after the release date.

New Video: "4 More" - JAY Z + Samsung + Magna Carta Holy Grail

"We should make like four more this week, since we got time." - Jay-Z

I don't have the new Samsung Galaxy 4, so I'm a little cheesed all those SG4 users will get the drop on this new album before I do. That's BS Hov! But that's all a part of the music marketing strategy, I get it.

Jay-Z's new album "Magna Carta Holy Grail" drops on Independence Day (July 4th) and I'm actually really excited to hear this project. From the video snippets that have been released so far, all of the production sounds like it's on a whole new level.

Confirmed producers collaborating on the project include: Rick Rubin, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, & Pharrell.

New Video: "No Church In The Wild" by Kanye West, Jay-Z & Frank Ocean

Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the whole Watch The Throne project, there were a couple songs from that album that I thought were alright. This is one of them, and lucky for me, it's one that they decided to make a video for. Since they're both loaded with cash, there's no doubt that they would both want to invest in a high quality video. Although it doesn't feature the artists of the song, it vividly presents a picture that's been seen frequently in this point in time. Check out this revolution-based cinematic along with the well-known song!
