This one is strictly one topic, no disses, just straight up life experiences spoken from the heart. It seems like a continuation of his track from Gazing At The Moonlight, "Chris Dolmeth", but this one's a lil more serious than the last. Funk Volume artist Jarren Benton is not your average emcee. Originally, I first heard of this Atlanta-based rap artist through the homie K Brenton at Eternal Cadence, when he shared the "Funk Volume 2013" joint.

Ever since, he's been catching my ear with all his newest joints, including the last one we shared, "Bully" featuring Vinnie Paz. This new track called "Life In The Jungle", produced by Kato, is another dope cut, from his upcoming album "My Grandma's Basement", which drops today on iTunes.

I think this collaboration is random as hell. I'm not complaining or anything, it's good to see Vinnie Paz working with a Funk Volume artist. Just caught me a lil off guard haha. It actually turned out to be an alright song though. It's from Jarren Benton's first album on FV, "My Grandma's Basement", which drops on June 11. This song gives you what you'd expect from each artist, so if you're a fan of either than you should check this!

Awww yeah. This is some good blazing music after a stressful work day. I've been takin' it easy lately, but I think I'ma have to do what both Joey Bada$$ and Dizzy Wright are doing in the above picture. The two up and coming youngins came together to make a dope track over a soulful sample. This DJ Hoppa produced track's gonna be on Dizzy Wright's upcoming mixtape that hasn't been given a name yet. Recently I stumbled across this super sick video on the homey K Brenton's blog Eternal Cadence. The boys over at Funk Volume continue to release impressively creative music, and this track is definitely no exception. "Funk Volume 2013" features dope verses from each rap artist who brings their own unique flavour to the record.

SwizZz, Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton, Hopsin and DJ Hoppa put together this wicked collaboration which is filled with thought-stimulating lyrics and intricate rhymes to intertwine them. Not to mention the video and concept are solid as fuck. Enjoy.
