One of my favourite lyricists of all time is the one and only AZ. This dude writes every verse like it's going to be a classic. That's usually how they come out sounding too. Just listen to the flawlessness of his flow and how his words connect on this new track "I Excel", I mean damn!

This song's sick. AZ's still killing shit, and keeping it lyrical as hell. I was never huge into AZ but I know a few of his older songs. His flow's so smooth and fits together perfect. Sometimes I like tracks with this mood too. When the beat doesn't even have hard drums, just nice mellow drums over a soulful sample. The Statik Selektah produced track isn't from an album as far as I know, just a single at this point. RTiculate already posted the song itself, but this is my first time hearing it, and the video's dope as well. Check it!
